How does the ecoegg Laundry Egg work?
The mineral pellets work together in the water to effectively draw dirt from clothing fibres and soften clothes by changing the pH, leaving your laundry clean and fresh without using traditional detergents.

| User Guidance | HOW DO I KNOW WHEN TO REPLACE MY ECOEGG LAUNDRY EGG PELLETS?You will need to refill your ecoegg Laundry Egg roughly every 2 months (approximately 7-10 weeks). This time period will differ according to a number of factors: 1. Whether you are using the original 70 wash egg or the 50 wash refill pack. If you’re still unsure when to change the pellets, it is suggested waiting until the pellets have dissolved to just below the white strip which is found near the opening clasp. Alternatively, keep a small tally near to washing machines to tot up 70 washes or change pellets when they have dissolved to half of their original size. |

Although the ingredients are biodegradable and do not contain any harmful chemicals, we have not tested the effect on wildlife and plants, so cannot recommend putting the pellets in your compost. |
